Should The Sixers Trade Andre Miller?

Andre Miller will never live up to being the main asset the Sixers received in return for Allen Iverson.  He is a nice player, a point guard who knows how to run an offense, something the Sixers have lacked since the days of "6 feet of" Eric Snow.  It is unlikely that Miller will be around to see better days with the Sixers.  It can only get better, right?  This leads me to the question of whether Miller should be dealt for either a young player with potential or another draft choice?

Sixers beat writer Joe Juliano, who does a nice job covering a pathetic team, fields this same question in his online forum.

I think some playoff teams could certainly use a point guard of Miller's caliber and I'm sure the Sixers will listen. But my feeling is that he'll spend the rest of the year with the team and then maybe get moved in the off-season. As a traditional point guard, Miller is helping the team see what it has in its young players so the front office can better decide what they have as the rebuilding process gets started.

Would it be wise to move Miller before the trade deadline or wait until the season is over?  Six of one, a half dozen of the other.  Hopefully Larry Brown can brain wash Billy King into allowing LB to make all the major basketball decisions.  Then again, Brown doesn't have the best track record of starting from nothing.  He's the kind of guy who thrives when put into an already positive situation.

Andre Miller must know his days are numbered in Philadelphia.  The way the Sixers have been playing, I'm sure he doesn't mind.
