Elton Brand will face his old team for the first time tonight at the Wachovia Center. It seemed as if things kind of ended on a sour note in L.A. with coach Mike Dunleavy saying that David Falk "poisoned' Brand in some way. Regardless of the past, Brand isn't looking forward to the focus being on him, "I don't care to see them. I can't worry about individual stuff. It's just a competition. It's just a game we need to win."
The Clippers are a pretty lowly 2-9 but as Philly showed us on Wednesday in Minnesota, the Sixers don't always handle the poor teams well. The addition of Baron Davis has made for more off-the-court fun than winning on the hardwood.
ESPN's accuscore magical computer says the Sixers have an 84% chance of winning. How that is possible I have no idea.

This time, I'm going with the computer genie and the Sixers. Expecting big thanks from EB tonight.
