Sixers Fail to Close Out in Charlotte, Lose in Final Seconds

A night after the Bobcats put an end to the Nets pathetic losing streak, Charlotte turned things around and pulled off a nice little comeback in the final minute and a half of play capped by a Raymond Felton layup. Philly had a final chance, down a point, with 4.7 seconds to play, but the Sixers failed to get off a good look. The ball was once again in Andre Iguodala's hands with the game on the line and he could only get up a real tough, contested look. He has hit his fair share of closing shots but I'm still not completely sold on 'Dre as a money player with the game on the line and one shot to hit. [video of the awful final stretch below]

Other than Willie Green getting video game hot for much of the game, it was a bleak evening. On the plus side, the ninth straight loss could set up a winning opportunity in the highly anticipated return of a certain scorer on Monday.
