Sixers Once Again Making a Move

It's been an up-and-down year so far, mostly down, but once again the Sixers are making a move in the East.  Winners of a season best four straight, and with Elton Brand set to re-enter the lineup in the near future, it looks possible they are set to put it together.  They've not beaten the best of clubs during this stretch, but winning is always positive.

Tonight is an intriguing match with the 23-14 Blazers in town.  For one thing, they're a decent club, so it would be a quality win if they could extend their streak.

What about this Greg Oden guy though?  At one time, he was the automatic first overall selection in the draft, then almost immediately he suffered a season ending injury in his first career game.  Since all of that, he has been somewhat anonymous.  I guess 8.3 points and 7.2 boards doesn't exactly light the world on fire.

This is Philly's first game against Oden, and my first time seeing him play pro ball, and I really have no idea what to expect.  There don't seem to be many positive reviews flying around.  Is he still a player that has the potential to be a dominant NBA center, or will he become just another guy?  I'll be watching how he handles the mighty Samuel Dalembert tonight.
