The Sixers faltered last night, not entirely shocking given their up-and-down season, the length of time since their last road game, and the tendency to play to the level of their opponent. Unfortunately, it doesn't get any easier as they welcome the Nuggets to the Wach tonight.
Denver won the last encounter on December 26 while both teams seemed to be at somewhat of a crossroads. Since then, both teams have been riding a wave of success, Denver in particular having risen from the muck in the Northwest division to take a marginal lead. They'll be playing their first game since the break, so hopefully they'll get off to the same slow start as the Sixers did.
