Earlier reports that Donte' Stallworth had signed with the Patriots today are currently being called premature. The Pats have offered him a 6-year, $32 million deal, which was reported by Comcast Sportsnet, and subsequently on 950 WPEN.
As I was putting together the post to discuss it, the link at Comcast disappeared, and moments later was replaced with this.
The Patriots signed former Dolphins WR Wes Welker today, but still put the offer on the table to Donte'. The Titans, who just lost Drew Bennett, are also said to be interested. We'll see if Donte' heads north, south, or if the Birds match the money...
