Superman and His Magic in Philly Tonight On ESPN

The Sixers host the 10-4 Orlando Magic this evening and the game is on ESPN for all of you displaced Philly fans to enjoy. Former St. Joe's great, Jameer Nelson, is listed as day-to-day and will likely be out of the line up. Jameer will be replaced by the old and young combo of Anthony Johnson and Courtney Lee. One large man who will certainly be in the line up is Dwight Howard who is off to another great year averaging 20.9 points, 13.4 boards, and 4.1 blocks per game.

The Sixers continue to hover at the .500 mark and are struggling to find their identity, especially on the offensive end. They look great one night when they're defense sparks a nice running game and follow that up with super poor performances against the Bobcats and Timberwolves of the world.

Brand's point production has fallen from what the Sixers had hoped they'd get out of him this season but Andre Iguodala's drop in production is perhaps more troubling.

The ninth overall pick in the 2004 draft looked to be on the verge of
becoming a star last season, leading Philadelphia with 19.9 ppg on 45.6
percent shooting. He's averaging 13.4 points and shooting 39.8 percent
in 2008-09.

Tip off for the Sixers is at 7:30.
