The Penn State Nittany Lions came to town today to play the Temple Owls at a game at Lincoln Financial Field. Kickoff was scheduled for noon, but chances are you didn't see it, unless of course you're down at the Linc. This is technically a home game for Al Golden's Owls, but in reality there will be thousands more PSU alums in attendance.
Today's TV dilemma isn't the fault of the Big Ten Network but rather ESPNU which is only available on Verizon or something called Service Electric that we've never heard of before.
It's a fairly gloomy day in the Philadelphia area, not exactly great for those tailgates Penn Staters are so fond of. So if you really want to see if Temple can hold their own, your best bet is to head to your local watering whole with a football package.
