The Palestra documentary has all of the names you think of when it comes to college hoops in Philadlephia: John Chaney, Sonny Hill, Phil Martelli, Dr. Jack Ramsey, Fran Dunphy, Rollie Massamino, and the list goes on. The documentary has been in the works for quite some time now, but I just recently learned of it. Certainly those familiar with the storied history of Philadelphia basketball will be excited to see this piece. I not only attended games at the Palestra growing up, I also got a chance to play there while attending many of Fran Dunphy's basketball camps as a kid.
