It was a sad day for the Phillies organization yesterday as they lost a member of their community in longtime broadcaster Andy Musser. I don't have many vivid personal memories of Musser's work for the Phillies from my time growing up watching them on television, but we know many of you do, and we respect that, so we'll point you in the direction of a more fitting remembrance. The New York Times' Tyler Kepner does a wonderful job remembering the man he called a "gentleman of the press box."
And here's a photo from back in the day of Musser and Harry Kalas down in Florida for spring training. We've got high hopes that they're talking about the good old times somewhere far, far away at the moment.
