When I was twenty-six, it was a very good year. A very good year for the Phillies and their first playoff birth since 1993.
This here is our last post for 2007. We thought a nice photo of our fearless leader, Mr. Chase Utley and his beautiful wife Jennifer -- with a puppy! -- would be a nice way to head into '08. The photo is from Philadelphia Magazine's 76 People to Watch in '08. We'll certainly be watching.
Now for some random site stats for The700Level.com according to Google Analytics. We came in just shy of 1.7 million page views in 2007. Not too shabby.

The following is a list of some of our most viewed pages of 2007. It's not exactly our favorite posts or those we're most proud of but rather the pages on our website that were visited more than any others:
- And the winner is... Jessica Simpson! Surprise, surprise. Matt's post about how Jessica Simpson jinxed Tony Romo was the most viewed post on The 700 Level in 2007.
- 2nd: Cole Hammels married former Survivor star and Playboy Playmate Heidi Strobel.
- Video of a ref getting his clock cleaned in an Eagles/Steelers game.
- A theme is starting to develop: boobs on the Internet generate page views. A topless Eagles fan with a body painted Jevon Kearse jersey. Maybe she jinxed him.
- Photos of Pat Burrell proposing to his fiancee.
- My trip to the 2007 NBA All Star Game in Las Vegas proved to generate some popular content. This "Where's Waldo" of celebrities at the game was a crowd pleaser.
- The 8 year old "white Reggie Bush."
- Charlie Manuel and Howard Eskin almost throw down!
- A YouTube compilation of the Phillies at bat music.
- That stupid Hill in Texas.
- The video I took at the All Star Game of Gilbert Arenas dunking off of a trampoline during a timeout has been watched 35,000 times.
- Phillies college night gets wild!
- Bill Walton drunk on the Last Vegas strip!
- That guy who broke Chase Utley's hand. We didn't like him much.
- Kevin Kolb hunts hogs with his bare hands. And a knife.
- And finally: my report and video of the Phillies winning the 2007 NL East.
Sadly, Ryan Howard's Italian vacation did not make the list. What were your favorite posts of 2007?
I'd like to thank all of the readers for clicking on our little website here everyday and especially those who take the time to add thoughtful, insightful comments. As always, if there's something you'd like to see more/less of in 2008. Don't hesitate to let us know.

No championships were won by a Philadelphia sports team in 2007 but as they say:
There's Always Next Year.
