TreyFlyers Fan Mixes His Interests in Jersey Form

Our friend Joe Manning hit up the Trey Anastasio show in Brooklyn last week, which by all accounts was pretty damn good. He sent over some videos from the show, and smack in the middle of the front row is the one and only "Anastasio Flyers" fan. (When the band was touring and we'd hit multiple shows each year, we'd always recognize various characters, like Lawn Boy, for instance.)  Apparently this guy has been making the rounds as well:

The Phish-Flyers connection has long been established, with Trey growing up in Jersey and following the team, and especially after Vermonster John LeClair was added and became a fan favorite. Phish sang the national anthem several times for the Flyers, and Trey has rocked a LeClair jersey on stage at least once that I can remember. Quite a few of our best Spectrum memories were when these guys were on stage.

We've also heard that this fan used to have a Devils jersey with Trey's name on it, but at one of the 2004 reunion shows in Hampton, road manager Brad Sands informed him that "Trey hates the Devils." (A-men) Hence, the Orange & Black Anastasio #3 jersey. At least he knows Trey's not getting traded any time soon. Here's a video he took, and below, one from a bit further back.
