Don't think we've forgotten about the little man. His presence at the Wachovia Center has been missed this season and the people of Colorado are surely enjoying the moves.
In an interesting piece on ESPN.com, J.A. Adande compares the two amazing athletes career trajectories both on and off the playing surface. For me, it has some choice quotes from A.I. that are worth a look. For a guy with such a bad reputation, Iverson often has some poignant words.
"I got close many a time. Just making young, dumb
mistakes. I think the hardest thing for a black man to do in this
society, one of them, is to think when he's mad. At times, you've got
to take that five, 10 seconds to think before you just react. I've
learned … in life, what to do and what not to do from experience."
