A couple of highlights to mention from last night's Flyers-Leafs preseason game, then the video to which the title refers.
First and foremost, the Chris Pronger Effect is already being felt. Pronger is logging long and productive minutes, earning that contract, and last night, he scored a powerplay goal. This... this is going to go well. Also, Danny Briere lit the lamp twice. The Flyers had been strangers to the Red Light District in their previous preseason games, and while they still lost 5-4, it's good to see the scoring tick up.
And now the freak video event of the preseason: Jason Allison playing hockey again. To make sure the world knows he's serious about his comeback, he took on Darroll Powe in a scratch-and-pull, which resulted in something I've never seen before.
