As we wrote about previously, Flyers new goalie Ray Emery is a big boxing fan and had the images of Philly boxing legends Joe Frazier, Bernard Hopkins, and Rocky Balboa painted on his new Flyers mask. In a fun twist, Joe Frazier visited with Emery yesterday and the netminder gave Smokin' Joe his very own custom Flyers jersey. Frazier offered to show Emery some punching techniques and called hockey a "rough game." "Hit em quick and often," Joe said. Sounds like good advice to me. [video below]
