Charles Barkley says ‘black people don’t play beer pong’ after Jordan pong comeback

Nov 19, 2013, 11:10 AM EDT

source: Michael Jordan was spotted (not wearing something truly awful for once) playing beer pong last week and the Internet was all abuzz. This was a big deal for some reason.

This didn’t really register on our radar until TMZ put a camera in front of Charles Barkley’s face last night and asked him about MJ’s ping-pong-ball-throwing exploits.

Chuck did not approve.

From TMZ:

Charles: “Black people don’t play beer pong.”
Pap: “Jordan did!”
Charles: “That don’t make it right!”

You can watch Sir Charles go on to explain further below. It is, as you’d assume, awesome.

Yeah, go ahead and tell Michael Jordan that he can’t throw a ball through a hoop. And then tell him it’s because he’s black. That’ll go over well. By 2016 he’ll be player/owner/founder of the NBPA.
