    Been a Phil fan for 55 years….what they did to Charlie was classless….coulda/shoulda waited til the season eneded……..just like the Cowboys did to Tom Landry….shame on the Phitins…..my loyalty is shakin but not brokin…..how do I explain this to my 8 yr old grandson?

    Charlie was a class act for a heartless business driven classless Selfish organization. I hope more and more seats are empty as the hearts were that let him go like that . We are not idiots we understood you were not going to renew his contract but the man deserved better that he got .He gave you his all every day and you thanked him by showing him the door. At least by waiting till the end of the season Ryne Sandberg could have a fresh start at Spring Training. He didn’t look that great last night did he or was it because of the team around him. The same team that Charlie had. Nice job Phillies.
