Video: ‘Fire Ruben!’ Chants Break Out at Citizens Bank Park; Phillies Shut Out Again

Aug 17, 2013, 10:43 PM EDT

From our Fearless Leader at the ballpark:

And this was before Juan Uribe’s three-run shot in the ninth to make it a 5-0 final.

Two games into the Ryne Sandberg era, and the Phillies have yet to score a run. On the plus side, they did commit three errors on Saturday night.

Unlikely Ruben Amaro will be signing autographs tomorrow morning.

Ruben didn’t have the class to manage the end of Charlie’s Phiilies career with dignity….nor is Ruben man enough to admit that he has failed as GM. What a major league screw-up Ruben has been, for all of us.

Sadly, even whe they fire Ruben, in 3 or 4 years, I have no faith this group will do the complete overhaul of scouting and front office that is necessary to compete today’s MLB. Ruben will go and someone who’s already there will be hired, they learned nothing from going outside with Gillick.

Then why not bring Gillick back in to 100% manage the search for new front office people?

Umm yeah like Ruben stabbed me in the back but at the same time he like took the best seat in the house away from me and things like that umm but like I always say like I’m a winner and I’m gonna like win and things like that and at the same time I like wrasslin’ and so like you know what I mean by that is like you know I want to challenge Ruben to a steel cage match like you know.

Impressive, all nine people with a clap chant. I’m sure that will really get Montgomery thinking late at night.

You have no class. your arrogance will catch up to you in the end. Charlie deserved a better ending as for you, reubem “What goes around, comes around”.
