Bobby Abreu makes a (quasi) tough catch!

Yes, it is true, I saw it with my own eyes.  Bobby indeed made a catch I expected him to drop running towards the foul line in right during the bottom of the 3rd inning.  While sitting in the bleachers at Wrigley on Sunday, my group of Phillies fans were discussing with friendly Cubs fans the sometimes lollygagish nature of Abreu's fielding.  Not an inning later Abreu butchered a ball which he seemingly should have had.  The Phillies and Cubs fans all got a good laugh at that one.

Bobby did well at the plate with a 2 run shot early and Mike Lieberthal is still on the Phillies, he had a solo shot in the 5th AND a 2 run shot in the 6th.  Wow.

But all was lost when the Phillies middle relief did what they do and gave up runs.  Terry Adams and Geary should be shot.

Noteworthy: Charlie Manuel got ejected for arguing balls and strikes, David Bell got ejected and really lost his cool.. which I think is nice to see; haven't seen much emotion from this team.  Robinson Tejeda got his major league debut in the 8th.
