Here is an article which talks about where the idea of Burress coming to the Eagles came from. I don't think the Eagles will go for him, but I definately think he would be a big upgrade from Pinky.

Privately Michael Harrison, who represents Burress, contacted the Eagles to see how they felt about the Michigan State product. It would have been fun listening to the conversation, for Burress blew a chance to make a few more dollars in 2000 when he blew off a scheduled meeting with Andy Reid and the Eagles’ brass at the NFL’s scouting combine.
