Eagles Top League Merchandising List

Share

The Eagles are popular and sell lots of gear, more gear than any other NFL team for the first time ever.  The only to make the top 25 jerseys sold list was Donovan McNabb.  I'm guessing T.O. joined the team a little late into the mix.  That is my only guess as to why he didn't make it.

I thought this was interesting and found it on a random message board:

The PHILADELPHIA EAGLES led NFL teams in merchandise sales for fiscal 2004 (April 1, 2004 through March 31, 2005), the league announced today.  Philadelphia, which ranked fifth last year, reached the top for the first time ever.  Its previous best was No. 3 in 1981.

The Super Bowl XXXIX champion New England Patriots held the No. 2 spot for the second consecutive year followed by the Pittsburgh Steelers, Oakland Raiders and Green Bay Packers.  The Steelers’ No. 3 ranking is their highest since occupying the same spot in 1995.  The Raiders have ranked among the top six in sales since 2000.  The Packers placed in the top five for the ninth consecutive year.
