Iverson Shuts Down Nelson’s Magic

Jan 4, 2006, 4:04 PM EDT

Not sure if Sixers fans should be excited that they found a way to beat the Magic in Orlando last night, or discouraged that they played horribly for most of the game.  At this point, I guess we should be excited that they are 2-0.  A.I. hit the game winner with about 2 seconds left.

Aside from the Sixers win, I’m a big fan of Jameer Nelson.  He’s a great local kid who is going to be a star in the NBA.  Turns out he was in town this summer bonding with a number of his teammates.

Two games into the young season, Iverson leads the league in scoring, averaging 35.5 per game.
