Quotable: Michael Vick Thinks He'll Be Dangerous (Someday)

It was just a year ago this week that Michael Vick was released from prison and while the man has come quite a long way, he's still not where he really wants to be: a starting quarterback somewhere in the NFL.

Vick is still optimistic that he'll get that chance further down the road and that he'll still be a dangerous weapon in the NFL. From Jeff McClane:

"Being a competitor you always want to start," Vick said Monday, his
first day participating with rookies and selected veterans during
organized team activities. "I know in my future that's there for me.
I'll be a starter in this league again. Right now I'm just having fun
honing my skills.

"You're going to have an opportunity to be a starter. And I'll say,
'OK, I'm going to go back to the drawing board and work on a lot of
things that I didn't have a chance to work on because I was forced into
action so fast.' I have to work on those things and when I get back
to doing them I'm going to be dangerous. That's all I can say -- I'll be
dangerous."

Vick's usage during the 2009 season frustrated many fans who felt that bringing Vick in to run a sweep here and a sweep there really messed up the flow of the Eagles "regular" offense. With Donovan McNabb out of the picture, it's unclear exactly if Vick will be used any more this season.

I'd guess that if he's on the roster and getting paid quite a good deal of money this year, you may see a bit more of him whether you like it or not. What do you think? With McNabb gone, do you want to see more/less of Vick?
