Curt Schilling recently made it known that the reason he ended up with Boston and not the Phillies was Ed Wade's personal issues with the World Series Champion Schilling. Schilling said if he had it his way he would have ended up back in Philadelphia to throw out the first ever pitch at Citizens Bank Ballpark last spring. The Phillies wouldn't have gotten him cheap, they would have had to given up one of their untouchables, but I haven't seen any of them in a major league uniform in a while.
