Lebron James's pregame dunk routines have caused quite a stir over the past few weeks. It all started when one of his ridiculous "mid-air, pass-through-the-legs, off-the-glass, one-handed dunks" before a game with the Cleveland Cavaliers last month hit YouTube and had basketball fans everywhere in awe. It was the kind of dunk fans yearn for in the dunk contest every All-Star Weekend.

That initial amazement eventually turned into groaning about Lebron never having entered said Dunk Contest throughout his career. Then that snowballed even further when Magic Johnson offered up a million dollars of his own cold hard cash if LBJ decided to enter and subsequently won the event next year.

It became such a distraction that Lebron threatened to stop the pregame flight show.

Which brings us to this evening, when James and his red hot Miami Heat came to Philadelphia to attempt to win their 20th-straight victory.

It's safe to say word of Lebron's frequent pregame antics got around and the Wells Fargo Center was about as full 30 minutes prior to tonight's opening tip than it usually is for most of their other games this season during the 3rd quarter.

Fans came to see what this Lebron show was all about. We were curious ourselves and had our camera guy, Ben, catch the air show which you can watch above. There was nothing quite as eye popping as his YouTube craziness against Cleveland, but damn, Lebron is fun to watch slam dunk a basketball. Even if there's nobody defending him.

Pretty damn good entertainment. And all before the real contest even started.

(The Sixers currently trail 51-39 at the half and Lebron has at least 3 dunks that are deserving of their own highlight reel. Oh, and he has 18 points. In the first half.)
