The Eagles will sign former Tennesee Titan and two-time Pro Bowl quarterback Vince Young to a one-year contract.

The Birds’ front office is acting fast to fill the void behind Michael Vick. The NFL Network’s Albert Breer reported the Eagles will sign third overall pick of the 2006 draft and two-time Pro Bowler Vince Young for a backup job. The former Tennessee Titan compiled a 30-17 record as a starter over five seasons, getting the job done both through the air with 8,098 yards passing, and on the ground with 1,380 yards rushing.

More to come…
