Former Phillies Kenny Lofton and Marlon Byrd will be reunited in the Texas Rangers outfield. My favorite part of the Forbes story on Lofton:
Over 16 major league seasons with Houston, Cleveland, Atlanta, the
Chicago White Sox, San Francisco, Pittsburgh, the Chicago Cubs, the New
York Yankees, Philadelphia and the Dodgers, Lofton has a .299 career
average.
I'm out of breath just reading all those cities. Lofton got a $6 million dollar one year deal. Not to shabby for a 40 year old who was once one of the games most lethal on the base path. Another example of the craziness in this years off season market.

Not sure whether they actually ever played together in Philly, but Byrd played 5 games for the Phil's in 2005 while Lofton appeared in 110.
