The ESPYs aired last night and Donovan and T.O. were in attendance. Mr. Owens was interviewed on the red carpet and asked about his contract and whether he would play for the Eagles this season. T.O. said something along the lines of "You have to talk to Joe Banner and Andy Reid." Then he went on to take a mini jab at Super 5, "Donovan is here tonight, it's his show, he runs things in Philly, you can ask him." That is not a direct quote, but me paraphrasing what T.O. said.
T.O. then avoided questions about the Eagles and focused the conversation on his son and his family, again pointing out that God is the only person he answers to in his life. Did he really equate his struggles to Jesus Christ's struggles? Jesus Christ.
