A Truly Awesome and Unique Show of Fan Support

May 7, 2012, 2:22 PM EDT

This is one of the more hilarious and unique ideas we’ve seen from any fanbase in a long time. A bunch of German soccer fans who hadn’t seen their team score in 5 games devised a plan to try and help show them where the goal is located.

Taking notes, Union fans?

From the YT description:

LOWLY German outfit Magdeburg failed to find the net for five consecutive games. But rather than boo their own players as is the modern way, these fans decided to lend a helping hand.

Supporters of the German Regionalliga Nord side handed out arrows ahead of their home match with Berliner AK ’07 on Sunday. The fans gathered in the stands behind the goal and held up a banner reading: “Don’t worry, chaps, we will show you where the goal is!”
