John Oliver clearly learned a thing or two from Jon Stewart during his tenure at the Daily Show on Comedy Central. Stewart, a lifelong Mets fan, is known for using the Phillie Phanatic in his bits whenever feasible and Oliver squeezed a cameo from the Phillies big green guy into his segment excoriating FIFA for their famously corrupt ways.
It's admittedly a very brief appearance, but the idea of the Phillie Phanatic being judge and jury of pretty much the entire world pleases us greatly. You can watch the segment from Oliver's HBO show Last Week Tonight with John Oliver above.
